신체 모든 부분이 '인공적'으로 대체되는 시기가 온다면 과연 인간은 어떤 기준으로 인간이라 할 수 있는 것인가.
나는 <Border Human>을 통해 가상세계 속에 공간을 구축하고, 그 안에 토피아(풍경)를 채워나간다. 한 인간의 모습을 시작점으로 다종다양한 존재물이 뒤섞이는 토피아 속에서 새로운 정의와 가치가 생겨날 것이다. 그러나 가상세계는 과연 가상에만 존재하는 것일까. 곧 가상과 현실 사이의 경계가 무너지는 시기는 도래할 것이다. 가상과 현실의 희미해져가는 경계에서 새로운 인간과 종이 탄생하며, 인간이란 무엇인지 진정한 의미를 되돌아볼 수 있다. 이때를 위해 나는 작품 속에 
그 단서를 하나씩 남겨보려 한다.

If the time comes when all parts of the body are replaced with 'artificial', what standard can a human being 
be called a human being?
Through <Border Human>, I build a space in the virtual world and fill the topia (landscape) in it. New definitions and values   will be created in the topia where various beings are mixed, with one human figure as the starting point. But does the virtual world exist only in a virtual way? The time will come when the boundary between virtual and real will be broken soon. New humans and species are born at the blurring boundary between virtual and reality, and we will be able to look back on the true meaning of human beings. For this purpose, I try to leave the clues one by one in my artworks.
