우리는 육체에 남아있는 비언어로 소통한다. 나를 가득 채웠던 감정은 아무리 비워내어도 나의 쇄골 가슴뼈 날개뼈 배꼽 사이, 그 사이에 고여있다. 모두 흘려내렸다 하여도 그것은 가장 아름다운 계곡에 남아 상대가 무슨 감정을 가졌었는지 알아차리게 한다.

우리는 감추지 못하는 것을 안고 살아간다. 본디 숨길 수 없는 것이다. 내게 말하지 않은 이야기가 읽힐 때면 항상 그것이 궁금했다. 무슨 일이 이 사람을 이 색으로 범벅이 되게 만들었을까.

We communicate through non-verbal language remaining in our bodies. No matter how much I emptied the emotions that filled me, they linger between my collarbones, breastbones, wingbones, and navels. Even if it all flows down, it will remain in the most beautiful valley, making you aware of what the other person is feeling.

We live with what we cannot hide. It is something that cannot be hidden. Whenever I read a story that was not told to me, I always wondered about it. What could have caused this person to be covered in this color?
